Elsa Energy Consulting Ltd is an owner-operated consultancy working across offshore wind, oil & gas, mining and nuclear - underpinned by code-first automation that streamlines routine tasks, standardises data flow, and delivers production-scale analytics.

Design-led energy-project leader with 15+ years in UK consultancy, delivering major programmes from concept and FEED through detailed design and installation. I set execution strategy, run large programmes, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver on cost, schedule, quality, and risk. My work covers portfolio optimisation, optioneering, supply-chain engagement, and post-award contract management, building strong ties with developers, fabricators, and contractors. Alongside offshore wind, I offer cross-sector experience in mining, large infrastructure, oil & gas, nuclear, and tunnelling—using proven approaches to improve constructability, reduce risk, and create commercial value. I contribute to industry guidance and lecture on offshore energy systems at the University of Bologna.
Previous experience and clients
Offshore Wind

I am an offshore wind specialist with over 15 years’ experience leading major fixed and floating offshore projects from concept and FEED through detailed design and installation across the UK, Europe, the US and Asia. My expertise covers monopiles, jackets, suction caissons, drilled-and-grouted piles and anchors for floating wind systems, combining advanced ground modelling, soil–structure interaction, installation analysis (driveability, suction, vibro-driving, jack-up LPA) and cable landfall / CPS engineering to de-risk projects and optimise CAPEX/OPEX. I have authored industry guidelines with the Carbon Trust, contributed to DNV JIPs, led foundation and installation design activities for developers such as Iberdrola and SSE, and I lecture on offshore wind jacket and monopile design at the University of Bologna.
A selection of previous clients and companies I have supported (including work delivered via third parties) is as follows:

-
Iberdrola/Avangrid - Hyundai - SSE - Ørsted - Sener - DEME - Cathie Group - Saipem- Sea & Land Project Consultants Ltd - Seaway7 etc.

Oil and Gas

In the oil & gas sector, I acted as a Principal Engineer and Project Manager, leading multidisciplinary teams on complex offshore projects from concept through detailed design and construction. I combined a strong technical background in geotechnical and structural engineering with project management and commercial responsibilities, taking ownership of programme, budget, risk, and client/stakeholder interfaces. I supported major operators and contractors on international developments, ensuring that engineering solutions aligned with cost, schedule, constructability, and contractual requirements.

Aibel Ltd UK - Baker Hughes - ConocoPhillips

Mining

In the mining sector, I acted as Principal Engineer and Project Manager, leading the design and delivery of deep shafts, steel-lined tunnels and underground works on complex international projects. I managed multidisciplinary teams, programme, budget and risk, coordinating closely with site crews and client stakeholders from concept through construction and remediation. My role included overseeing technical studies, numerical modelling, constructability reviews and interfaces to ensure safe, reliable and commercially optimised solutions for mine access and infrastructure.

-
WSP/Golder - Shafts and Tunnels

Civil Woks

In underground civil construction, I served as Principal Engineer, CRE and London office lead on projects such as the Finsbury Park station upgrade, overseeing permanent and temporary works for lift shafts, tunnels and step-free access. I led multidisciplinary design and construction support teams, coordinated closely with principal contractors, and took responsibility for programme, risk and interfaces to ensure safe, constructible solutions delivered on time and within budget.
